EMMA PARKS

Emma Parks is an award winning, LA based actress, writer, producer. She is a graduate of NYU Tisch where she received a BFA in drama. Originally from the Chicago area, Emma developed a love of acting and filmmaking at a young age. She recently co-starred in the award winning feature film, The Short Game receiving a nomination for best actress at the ICF Festival. She also starred in, co-wrote and produced the Tribeca Festival short film Dirty Towel, which has shown at over 25 festivals around the world. She recently won best actress for her performance in the short at the Fredericksburg Film Festival. After just a few months on YouTube, Dirty Towel has already passed a million views and is now being turned into a full length feature film. Parks has continued her role as a co-writer and will return as Charlie in the movie. She is also signed on to co-star in Something Like That, a new romantic comedy feature set to film in the coming year.

In December of 2023, Emma made her Off-Broadway debut in Fragments with the RJ Theatre in NYC and returned this past September for The Weird Sisters. She is dedicated to telling authentic female-driven stories that inspire positive change by encouraging audiences to think, feel, and, most importantly, empathize with lives different from their own.

Some of Emma's other film credits include: Harper (lead) in the feature film A Deer in the Woods; Andrea (lead) in the short Player Piano; and Hannah (lead) in Intervention by Ghostlight director Alex Thompson. Emma’s theatre credits include Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Cathy Earnshaw in You on the Moors Now and Roberta in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
